We have moved
On March 28th the ArcheOs Laboratory moved from Campus Rommelaere to Campus Ledeganck. Together with ArBoreAl and Flepostore the whole GASC core facility now benefits from a new location provides a more professional research environment for our researchers.
In February 2024 GASC was recognised as a UGent Core Facility.
The Ghent Archaeological Science Center (or GASC) core facility provides state of the art analyses for human remains and ecofacts from archaeological excavations.
At the ArcheOs laboratory within the GASC we will offer anthropological, biomolecular, and biochemical analyses for osteological material, focusing on human remains. The core facility will offer in-house osteological analyses and takes on a coordinating role to offer additional analyses.
